Just like beets themselves, these Beet Face Earrings are not for everyone. The face on the Beet is medieval poet, minstrel and diplomat Oswald von Wolkenstein. In paintings, he had one eye closed, implying a lost eye, but there are no records on how he lost it.
Wear these charming beet face earrings to show off your love of iron-rich root vegetables, of troubadours, or just to look cute in the produce aisle.
A few details:
- These beet face earrings come in 2 sizes: the large measure about 4 inches from top of the leaf to the bottom of the root; the small are about 3 inches.
- The earring posts are titanium, which is nickel free and safe for most people with skin sensitivities.
- These earrings are really lightweight - even the larger version.
