Introducing the Heart of Snakes Pin, featuring two snakes embraced in a way that makes a heart of their bodies. The Latin word for love - AMOR -is written in the blank space between them.

The design of the snakes was inspired by medieval marginalia, meaning the drawings that monks would doodle in the margins of their manuscripts. I liked the addition of the Latin word for love because it further references the original source material - some lonely robed fellows drawing and writing in Latin in their drafty monasteries. Amor, indeed.

New to 2025, these snake pins are available in your choice of black, multi and white.

DETAILS

The Heart of Snakes measures about 1.75 inches across and is about 2 inches tall.
These heart-shaped snake pins are made from acrylic that's been laser-cut and laser-engraved.
The pin and pin back are stainless steel.

To keep your Darling Marcelle jewelry looking its best, keep it in its original box or a jewelry box when not in use.

Sterling silver is used in most of the designs; tarnishing is greatly diminished when stored away from moisture and oxygen.

To clean or polish your jewelry, use a soft cloth and rub gently.

Standard shipping to addresses located within the United States is free and is sent via United States Postal Service First Class Package Service.

For buyers located outside of the US, we offer subsidized rates through USPS, DHL and UPS.

You can return new, unworn items for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a refund or store credit, minus any original shipping charges.

Items purchased between November 1st and December 25th may be returned by January 25th of the following year.
