The twelfth member of the Japanese zodiac, the wild boar symbolizes fertility, courage, adventure and prosperity. (The Chinese zodiac has the pig as the twelfth animal, but Japan switched it to boar when they adopted the zodiac because there weren't pigs in Japan.) Boars are the gentle hirsute giants of the forests and mountains where they roam. These wood earrings are the perfect way to show your appreciation of these pretty porcine creatures.

  • These boar earrings are made from lightweight maple and are engraved with the boar image on both sides of each earring. 
  • Each boar measures about 1.5 inches at the widest point.
  • The ear wire is sterling silver-filled.

You can return new, unworn items for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a refund or store credit, minus any original shipping charges.

Items purchased between November 1st and December 25th may be returned by January 25th of the following year.

My new favorite earings

I’ve loved these earrings since the first time I saw them, finally took the plunge to purchase them and they absolutely do not disappoint. They are the perfect thickness so that I am not afraid of them snapping, while also not too heavy to make them uncomfortable.
